OVERALL EXPERIENCE: decently priced and enjoyed my massage! I do wish that they wore masks, since they tend to hover over your face while massaging your scalp and face.
AMBIANCE: Relaxing.
DRESS CODE: Come comfy and in casual clothes! Ditch the makeup if you're doing the steam room or facial massage!
EXPERIENCE: My friends and I came and we all got the Ruby Package (120mins for glass of champagne or white wine, steam room, reflexology, and body massage).
- The steam room was nice, but I prob wouldn't recommend bringing your drink in with you (due to the steam, I had droplets from the ceiling fall into my cup :| gross!). I wish they provided water to you when you come out.
- Reflexology was good (please note that you are in a room with six other people). Eddie was assigned to me and his strength was perfect for me! I felt he could've massaged my scalp a bit more, but he did a great job on my legs and feet! My friend felt that her masseuse did not do a great job and was a bit "laxed" with her feet and toes.
- Body massage (we were able to have a private room for us) and it was amazing! Eddie really got my knots out and the pressure was perfect!
- At the end, I wish they provided warm/hot water rather than cold water.
ADDITIONAL INFO:
- The women's locker room has two showers, no toilet (located in another area). There is a table and blow dryer if you wish to get ready/look more presentable.
- If I come back, I would prob bring a small face towel, as I feel it would be more sanitary (at least for me)
- Bring your own water bottle, as their cups are very small
- Bring cash for tip! You can pay for the service with your CC, but cash is highly preferred for tip.
PRICE: Ruby Package was $168 (with card) $160 for cash (120mins total)
PARKING: they have a few reserved spots in a small parking lot a block away (across from US Bank; please note it is not at US Bank). Look for the spaces marked 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 (I think those were all the numbers), but they also have a sign indicating "Cascade Spa" and you can always call to confirm.

Amazing Thai massages - Linda is fantastic! Feel night and day more relaxed and with vastly less tension; among the best massages I’ve had in SD.
The lobby is absolutely beautiful, with tons of interesting decor. Lovely eclectic ambiance here.
This place is AMAZING. I'm in town for work and showed up on their door as they opened. The gentleman let me in and called Shirley to see if I could fit in. They obliged and my wonderful, wonderful caretaker was Emma. The ambiance in this place is fantastic and the services are performed with care. I will be back next December!!
Came here for the first time based on all the other great reviews, it did not disappoint. We had the couples massage package and enjoyed it so much we came back a few weeks later for regular massages. Parking is easy too!
My girlfriend and I got the couple's package and enjoyed each step of the package. When there was an overlap in customers that had us waiting a bit longer after the steam sauna to be taken to the next stage, we were given the use of the salt lamp sauna for free. The massages were solid and we did feel it was a good spa visit.
The only thing that could use any improvement would be some communication about what the customer would like. As mentioned, there is an option of a steam or heat lamp sauna in the package. After changing, we were taken right into the steam sauna without us asking if there was a preference of which we preferred. The same goes for the massage. It may be a one size fits all massage and that would be okay! But in every other massage I've ever experienced, there was a conversation about focus areas. They only asked about what pressure we would like.
The people there were great and we did enjoy the experience overall.
These days it's easy to put off your health/ self care days, but I'm glad I took the time during lunch to walk in and schedule an appt for the same day at 5pm (Monday). The man at check in was kind and welcoming, not hesitating to summon my masseuse when I walked in 15 minutes earlier than scheduled. I felt calm instantly as the place is very clean and gorgeous inside, giving the feeling I'd been transported to distant lands. The Deep Tissue Massge was exactly what I needed! My masseuse frequently checked on my comfort and moved so skillfully I was surprised when she told me she had only been working for 3 years as a massage therapist. There are a ton of other amenities I unfortunately did not have time for, such as a salt room and sauna, which I love. Water and tea are offered on the way out. Remember to leave a tip 😁 A must anytime I visit from now on!
Every time I need to distress or pamper myself I try to go here and have a Mini spa day here. Staff is always nice especially the owner Shirley (spelling). The pricing is not bad for the experience, the atmosphere and obviously the massage. Each room is decorated uniquely and they offer lots of spa procedures. I have been going to Cascade Spa for over 6 years, all the way before they relocated to this larger spot. They even have a Himalayan salt sauna now. 😊
We did a couples massage and overall everything was great but there were a few red flags..
1- the masseuse had my whole butt out the entire time I was on my stomach. Like full butt, pulled the sheet underneath it.
2- they massaged our feet AND THEN our faces… pretty gross lol luckily we had showered before
3- they didn’t ask about the pressure we wanted before getting started. We both had to ask twice if they could go lighter
Overall, the aesthetic was nice, staff friendly, pretty reasonable price but just a few things were off.
